Since beginning in 1995, The Victoria Police Amateur Sports and Welfare Society has proudly hosted the Victoria Police Sports Awards. Each year, clubs, teams and individuals are nominated and presented awards in the following categories:
- THE MOST OUTSTANDING POLICE SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT OF THE YEAR (Nomination Form)
- THE VICTORIA POLICE AMATEUR SPORTS & WELFARE SOCIETY ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR (Nomination Form)
- THE MOST OUTSTANDING POLICE CLUB OF THE YEAR (Nomination Form)
- THE MOST OUTSTANDING POLICE RECREATION, WELFARE OR SOCIAL ACHIEVEMENT OF THE YEAR (Nomination Form)
- THE MOST IMPROVED POLICE TEAM OF THE YEAR (Nomination Form)
- THE ATHLETE SCHOLARSHIP (Nomination Form)
- THE POLICE SPORT HALL OF FAME (Nomination Form)
Nominations for these Awards are currently open until Tuesday 15th January 2026. Nomination forms have been sent to all affiliated VPASWS clubs but can also be downloaded from the links above.
Award winners will be announced at the 2025 Victoria Police Sports Awards to be held on Wednesday 11th February 2026 at The San Remo Ballroom, Carlton.
